One that inspired me to hug all my loved ones. That is a good thing though, this movie made me cry a good cry. I cried so hard that I got a headache and my face was red and puffy for hours. Especially for the last thirty minutes or so. And when it comes to an end you will likely have a new appreciation for all of your loved ones, and might even be inspired to do some good.īe warned, if you are someone who easily gets emotional like me, have tissues handy. You are sure to love each and every one of the characters in 2 Hearts. The movie seems to fly by as the story progresses. While Chris and Sam don’t seem to have much in common with Jorge and Leslie besides love, they eventually do. And just let them know how important they are to me.Ģ Hearts is a story that is based on true events - well, really two stories. And while that is nearly impossible because of the state of the country right now, I had to do the next best thing. When it ended I wanted nothing more than to see my friends and family that mean the most to me. The main thing that I got from this movie is living life to its fullest, and holding on to those that you love. Take Chris’ brothers for example - neither one of them are in the film that much, but the acting was so powerful that I connected with them and cared about their feelings, almost as much as I did the main characters. I was completely invested in their lives, and their health.Ģ Hearts does a fantastic job of making you care about all of the characters - no matter how small their role. I was completely engulfed in the film and felt a connection to every character. This movie made me feel the story lines alright. I wanted to really feel the story as it progressed. That was on purpose because I wanted what happened to be a surprise to me. I have to admit, I didn’t know much about the story at all going into this movie. It flows seamlessly, right up until the final moments. They did a great job of transitioning back and forth.
I was a little nervous at first knowing that the movie shows two totally different stories - would it be disjointed and cut together weird? Would that force me to not really connect with either story, or one more than the other? The answer is no. This movie is about two different couples, who don’t even know each other, but become connected in the end. Within the first 15 minutes I was completely hooked and invested in the story - well, both stories. This movie is extremely heartwarming and inspiring. They seem to weigh more heavily on me, knowing that this actually happened, to some degree anyways. Movies that are based on trues stories often have a different feel to them. It is a beautiful movie that is sure to warm your heart, inspire you, and even make you shed a few tears. 2 Hearts is a movie that is based on a true story.
